Description of Unit 30
Not everything is as it seems when Scully and Mulder, no relation to Dana or Fox, move into the 'perfect' planned community. They soon cross paths with a mysterious package sent to an address that doesn't exist. Mundane situations gradually begin to get off kilter for the pair, and with Mulder's curiosity piqued, the duo decides to solve the mystery behind Unit 30. In the vein of Tales From the Crypt/Darkside, Unit 30 is a campy mystery with a surprising conclusion.

WOOT WOOT: It's a screen capture post!!!
Okay, I don't wanna get any one's knickers in a bunch, but I have it on good authority that Unit 30 is basically done. What's that? You'd like to see some screen captures? Well what to do you know!? I happen to have some! (These are listed in order of how they appear in the short and they are a little grainy looking because of the way blogger displays them, click on the image to make it bigger)

A long overdue update
It has been quite some time since my last post/update. Well, I come bearing gifts,- gifts in the form of an update. Unit 30 is 90% done! As you all know the only thing that was not completed was the composed music. This was no small task since the movie's length clocks in at around 22 minutes. Well, I am now pleased to announce that we have a rough cut of the music done! It sounds awesome and totally lends to the overall feel of the short: a campy fun mystery! We are just tweaking and changing a few things here and there and than the short will be done. It will be submitted to festivals next year, in the hopes of screening in 2010/2011. You should all be very pleased with your performances and I am excited for you to see the finished short!

Wait, what was my line?
Below is the finished blooper reel for Unit 30. It's pretty funny, and yes, we all messed up. The important thing is that we were all able to laugh about our mistakes! Well, everyone except Ben laughed. Ben just said f*ck a lot. Feel free to add the video to your blogs or websites.

The sound is done!.....Well, almost
The fixing/mixing of the sound, well, dialogue for Unit 30 is complete! All that's left is color correction and for the music to be composed. The short is so close to completion I can taste it! Well, I mean I could if short films could be tasted. I imagine Unit 30 would taste like coconut
